laying of wreaths. Hot soup and buns at the Language Room after. Everyone welcome.
Nov. 9-17 - Theme: Winter Houses
Nov. 10 – Pro D Day – Centre is closed
Nov. 13 – Stat for Remembrance Day- Centre is closed
Nov. 11 - Remembrance Day- Centre closed to honor our veterans.
Nov. 14 – Board of Directors Meeting @ 5pm
Nov. 20-30 - Theme: National Addictions Awareness Week – no internet week.
Please bring your favorite board games.
Nov. 21-30 - Theme: Hunting
Nov. 20 - National Children’s Day: wear your pajamas to childcare, backwards lunch
(banana splits for lunch with pizza for dessert). Face painting. Making edible mud pies to take home.

April 3-30 – Cultural themes: Traditional dance programs, big drum, hand drumming

April 20 - Earth day: Clean cultural yard, garbage clean up in the AM, weed garden
in the PM, Put up Tipi, fire in the cultural yard and Weiner roast 10- noon
April 27 – Pro D Day – Centre closed for childcare
April 28 – AIDP Welcome baby ceremony at the Splatsin Community Centre @ 1pm To welcome all babies born in From Jan 2017 to Dec 2017 that are Splatsin descent. Contact Salena in our AIDP for more inform.

May

May 2 - Sunflower Picnic from 9:30 – 2:00 pm. (parent participation required). We will leave the centre at 9:30am and go to Salmon River to see the sunflowers and pick Indian Potatoes. We will provide a picnic lunch and gas po’s to parents who need it.
May 8 – Board of Directors Meeting @ 5pm
May 10 - Community Garden planting party at our centre (potatoes, tomatoes, berry bushes, carrots, onions)
May 11 - Family day Breakfast Mother’s Day from 8:00 to 9:00am.
May 17 – Eagle Program dinner and swimming (no sleepover this year)
May 18 - Pro D Day – Closed for Child Care
May 21 - Victoria Day – we are closed for this stat. holiday

June

tba - Fish release –with Kingfisher Interpretive Centre

June 15 - Fathers Day family breakfast at 8:00am to 9:00am.
June 21 - Aboriginal Day (Centre closed) We will have our year end celebration and
the children will be doing their cultural presentation from 10:00-noon at the Splatsin Community Centre
June 19 - Annual General Meeting at 5pm at Tsm7aksaltn
June 28 - Last day for kids
June 29 - Tsm7aksaltn closed. Staff clean up day.
